Dragos drafts in big hitters with significant team expansion

Cybersecurity specialists Dragos, announced today a significant increase in its team roster and capabilities – adding key industry technology and sales executives.

While COVID-19 has impacted hiring in the industry, Dragos seems to be doubling down.  According to the company announcement, “This is an exciting time to enter the industrial cyber security space with a leader like Dragos,” said Schatz. “Trends like the convergence of information technology and operation technology environments, along with the increase in risk from aggressive cyber threats, are converging to drive a burgeoning market opportunity that Dragos is uniquely positioned to capitalize on. I look forward to working with the team to continue to push our innovation agenda forward.”

Additions include:

Jodi Schatz brings more than 20 years of engineering experience to the Dragos team. Prior to joining Dragos, Jodi held positions as Vice President of Engineering at Gemalto, managing development resources worldwide for their enterprise security and authentication products and as Vice President of Client Services, overseeing global customer support and cloud delivery of their authentication product lines.

Randy Crow joins Dragos to lead the eastern U.S. and federal business with a track record in driving growth for both established and start-up technology companies. Crow held a similar responsibility for six years at industry stalwart, Tripwire, where he served as a vice president, propelling the company to acquisition in 2010. Throughout his career, he has developed and guided sales organizations to deliver double-and triple-digit revenue increases, while building high performance teams. Most recently Crow was a senior vice president, pre-IPO, at Tenable, leading the company’s public sector team.

Keith Evans joins Dragos as the Senior Director of Sales for the western U.S. Keith brings over 20 years of experience in developing, leading, and growing sales teams. His background includes leadership positions at several startups with a focus on ICS/OT security, IT security, and vulnerability management.  Keith most recently served as the Vice President of Sales for the Central Region and Canada for Tenable.

Derek Crawford joins Dragos to lead the company’s global solutions architect team, bringing his deep experience in security solutions and services delivery. Since the early 1990’s, Derek has worked with a variety of security technology companies starting with Symantec in 1992 and then joining Tripwire in 1999. After 11 years with Tripwire, he joined HP as their senior director leading enterprise security services for North America.
